Diane was born in Mississippi. Grew up in the Air Forces, even lived in Africa for 4 years. She taught for 35 years in the public schools in the western suburbs of Chicago - Westchester and Oak Brook. Retired to Asheville in 2005. Single and living in Durham with her dog, Mindy, since May 2017. Diane’s greatest joy is her son Jonathan - an electrical engineer for WolfSpeed in Durham.
